I have been doing a bit of sketching for my design, and I have come to the realisation that establishing a station at the new airport terminal that is mobile would not really be a beneficial choice. The station will be very important to Canberra's transport system, and, considering that flights will be arriving and departing at all times of the day and even night, there is no plausible reason for designing a station that can be moved on this particular site. Another important factor to consider when designing the building on that particular site, is that the new terminals should not be overshadowed with a station design that draws attention away from it. It is important for the station to be symmetrical. The station should also not be designed to be higher than the buildings surrounding it. These are some sketches that I have been considering for the station canopy.
