I have decided to go with the design below. This design best suites the rest of the new airport terminal, creates a different user experience as a result of the shadows created by the leaf figures cut out of the walls and the roof, allows for natural ventilation, day lighting and creates the panoramic view of Canberra for the passengers.
The design's roof will be approximately 6.5 meters high, which means that it will not block the approaching vehicles's view of the new terminal entrance. The station will establish its own identity and yet, still fit in with the airport.
