Panel One (Claires Panel)
Claire's Panel was to include the following information:
-LARGE SCALE: AUSTRALIA Transport map showing Canberra in comparison to other cities (Melbourne and Sydney) Emphasising how remote Canberra is and the lack of connectivity between the main cities and the ACT.
-MAP AND INFO-facts and research (population, transport etc.) as well as main map/visuals
-SMALL SCALE: CANBERRA Transport map of Canberra showing limited sonnectivity between areas- Emphasise scale, bus network, areas of importacne, governent areas, population problem
-MAP AND INFO- facts and research as well as main map/visuals-PROPOSED CONNECTIVITY Map of Canberra to introduce stops around city to connect it
(concept/abstract map with visuals/diagrams) Light rail connections to increase mobility and population increase around hubs at stations, and show important connection between government function and tourist areas, as well as main rail to link directly to Sydney.
In the end I think this panel turned out very well. I think that Claire chose a very creative way to display the information is a simple, and easy to read way.
