Week 6 Interim Presentation Prep 2

For the presentation we have decided to focus on one panel each. Claire will focus on panel 1, Jess on panel 2, and after merging panels 3 and 4 into one A2 panel to make the panels look neater, I will be focussing on panel 3.
o    Architectural Investigation
1.     Architectural Types & Purposes (20%) : The panel presented and blog posted satisfies the following descriptions.
-  Based on your investigation of Australian Capital Vision, you came up with an innovative suggestion to (partially) replace current Australian Parliament.
-  Excellent investigation and speculation are made to propose a range of services that your architectural entity is to provide.
-  You summarised your investigation well and communicated all necessary Information clearly and creatively with images and diagrams in your panel.
-  Your blog communicated your idea development well.
Outcome: one A3 (portrait) panel prepared by team and blog posts documenting development of individual ideas.
2.     Architectural Presence & Identity (20%): The panel presented and blog posted satisfies the following descriptions.
-  You conducted a unique and creative investigation into how your architectural entitiy can be identified and perceived as the capital of Australia by residents and visitors.
-  You summarised your investigation well and communicated all necessary Information clearly and creatively with images and diagrams in your panel.
-  Your blog communicates your idea development well.
After looking at the Australian Bureau of statistics, I have found out that “The population of the Australian Capital Territory is projected to increase by 169,500 people (50%) between 30 June 2007 and 2056, reaching 509,300 people.”
It only makes sense to assume that the State will continue to grow. The question is, will the city become denser, or will the City boarders spread wider?
The most important information that needs to be included in this panel as per mentioned above is:
·         Images, sketches, diagrams showing how the light rail will works
·         Showing how the light rail integrates with the airport, the train station, Parliament house, etc.
Maybe some projections of how Canberra will look in the future if it will be denser etc.

Above is a rough diagram of how I think this panel should be laid out .
